In June 2019, Robyn Moore, in association with Bright Ideas for Tennis, is attempting a monumental challenge to raise funds to provide free activity sessions for people experiencing mental health, learning, sensory or physical disabilities. She will visit 45 venues across the UK including parks, clubs, disability venues, and ATP/WTA events with a goal to hit 200,000 tennis shots in 30 days!
Robyn, who suffers with PTSD will be playing for 8-10 hours per day and will record her shots using the Swing App (on her Apple watch) - in order to reach her goal she will need to average 1 shot every 4 seconds! Each day will be a festival of tennis - open to all to watch, or participate. The final shots will be struck on the prestigious courts of the All England Community ground in Wimbledon on 30th June.
